Red Bull - Stratos (39km Skydive)
The Jump happened earlier today with a unofficial total freefall time of 4:22, and a max velocity of 729 mph. (From what I remember.)
Enjoy.

I watched the full 2.5 hour live feed of his ascent, fall, and landing. Truly an amazing feat.

That view straight down when he stepped to the edge was insane.
I gotta admit I was kind of scared for him when 1. I saw him somersaulting like a MOFO at 700mph, 2. When he was complaining that his visor was fogging... and 3. When that fat dude in at mission control kept giving the poor guy the wrong wind direction after his chute deployed. |

I watched pretty much the whole mission. I missed the balloon/Pod lift off. The older guy the camera cut to was Kittinger. I wonder how it felt to go Mach 1.2!!!?

That fat dude? Are you serious? Google Joe Kittinger before you sound more uneducated.

It's sad that Red Bull has a better space program than our government.

Until Red Bull lands an SUV sized rover on another planet, they still can not compare to NASA. The comment can still hold true to many other countries around the world though.

I like how joe, while going through the checklist, kept saying things like "may god be with you" and "your guardian angel will guide you" right before he is about to jump. Wtf man, might as well said "RIP felix" lol
