My Leather/Vinyl Repair Hero

Long story here, but I have to share....

So I searched up and down this forum to find some info on repairing ripped, scraped leather trim on the rear right panel of my E92's black interior. Something was put back their and somehow it put these little scrapes and cuts in the vinyl/leather as it sank down towards the floor. I didnt find much here, further research led to a gentlemen named Dean from Color Wonders, he is based here in the Chicago land area.
Anywho, I went to a couple BMW dealerships and they wanted to charge me between 500 and 600 to replace the panel, not including labor..Eeek. So I call this guy up, he has a completely mobile unit and we meet up in the parking lot of local grocery store today, this doesnt sound too creepy does it?
Well, in a matter of 30 minutes he repairs the damage to where you cant even see it. It was like friggin magic! He basically uses some type of heat gun and a poly-thingamaginga-mold to press the heated region to match the vinyl/leather molding. Then puts some putty like substance in the deeper cuts and does the same. Finally, finishes it off with some airbrushing (this guy has been doing this for about 16 years)
I'm kicking myself in the ass for not having taken pictures with the damage, cuz you wouldn't believe the difference. Oh, he did this all for one hundo..even. If anyone wants, I can try and post some pics of the repaired areas...So in the end, if anyone in the Chicago areas needs this kind of repair..Call Dean at Color Wonders, I got his number if you need it.
