HELP!! Charge Pipe Broke

So finally found e85 station today in Dallas. Upgraded the jb4 to latest update the other day. Map 5 is amazing. I switched to map two and Boom!! Broke the charge by clamp. I thought it blew off but when I opened the hood and looked, a piece of the pipe by the clamp was missing.

I'm trying to get oem charge pipe for warranty reasons. But is there anything differences in the oem charge for the 2010 models of the 335i coupe n54 motor than the previous 335i models? Or are they all the same?

Help me here.

Also, looking to buy oem charge pipe if anyone has one sitting around. Anywhere is Dallas area for local pick would be great but willing to pay for shipping. PM me.

All I've done is added the jb4 and lowered it. I took the jb4 out before I took it in for the claim. Between me and my buddy it took 20 minutes

'10 chargepipe is different from '07-'08 charge pipes... one piece vs 2 piece

they both fit both cars and work just fine, but if you say you want a stock chargepipe so they won't ask questions at the dealership, get the right one for your model year...

and if you buy used, MAKE SURE the C-clip is included (some people with aftermarket cp's keep it)

Thank you. Exactly what info I was looking for. Will the oem DV's fit any of the two or are they different as well?

yes your current DVs will work fine, assuming they weren't damaged

if your car is a 2010 335i this is what you need

Part # 13717590306
$192.45

I would buy a cheap oem but def invest in an aftermarket to use all the time, then when going to the dealer put the oem back on.

Don't waste your money on the stock CP. Get something better. I have the Stett CP and a lot of people like the ER.

i agree with running aftermarket, but you will still need the oem for dealer visits if you don't want them to ask questions

If you are so concerned about warranty, remove the tune and take the car into teh dealer and they will replace your chargepipe.

It is nothing new fro chargepipe to break, it happens on stock.

Replacing the plastic charge pipe for a aluminum chargepipe should not void warranty. Depending on your relationship with your SA talk with him

LOL you'd be surprised what the dealer will void your warranty for.

Thanks man. It's always nice to meet sincere people on here that are local. I'm taking it in tomorrow to Classic BMW. I still have to remove the downpipes, tune, intake, and oil catch can.
