Ingen CAI...normal noise?

Just had the CAI installed and overall very happy. Because I am a child I love being able to hear my turbos. My only "-" is when I hit speeds above 85 it sometimes sounds like someone is blowing on a part full soda bottle. Think "jug band" and you will get my drift. Not evident every time but enough to be annoying. Is this normal?

Nope...doesn't sound normal. I had Injen's DCI on my 135 and now my 335. Send an email to Paul:

Check to make sure its fully on, bolted down, and there arent any leaks. If its not on fully, you could get some whistle tips sound. they be like woooooot wooooooot!

I have the same intake on my car for about 2 years now. I don't have a jug sound. I do get a lot more turbine spool up sound versus the oem filter box, but it is a high pitch whirring sound, not a jug sound.

Yea....the turbo spool is the sound I enjoy.....I am hearing "Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas" (you probably need to be over 35 to get this reference) at high speeds. I will check connections.....and go from there.....
