Running different tyres Front and Rear
So I went out this morning to read the tyre information on my car and noticed that my front and rears are completely different. I know it is advisable to have the same brand and model tyres all around but I was surprised to find that only my rears are runflats! Is this standard BMW spec? Because I would have thought that it would affect the performance and stability.
FRONTS: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A* tubeless 225/35/R19 88Y REARS: Pirelli P-ZERO runflat 255/30/R19 91Y Both types of tyres are BMW recommended ones. |

Are you sure the fronts aren't run-flat? Is there an RSC logo on the sidewall? IIRC the Bridgestones don't actually have the word 'runflat' on them.
Would be unusual to see a RE050A that wasn't a runflat |

RE050A can be normal tyres aswell...they're oem on the TTS. OP has to check the RFT logo...
