335i sedan order

guys,

i just got a quote from my dealer for a SG 335i sedan, manual/alum trim with ZSP heated seats and folddown seats for $40,995.

How much room do i have for negotiation there? Any feedbacks welcome.

Much thanks in advance. i will probably trade in my 325i currently almost 38k miles

Seems like they priced you at MSRP, so you can prolly do a little better. I'm going on the car being $38,900, zsp $1,400, heated seats $400, fold down seats $300. Which to what I remembered when I last looked are pretty close to the correct figures, but each on could be +/- $100, still not too far off.

Cliffs: go back and renegotiate haha.

Maybe get them to add ZPP for that same price they offered you already then you won't have a bad deal going.

the only thing that i found funny was its really hard to negotiate with them, most dealers are pretty firm on there price.

According to this link they gave you 1k off MSRP. But thats 2007 pricing, youd be ordering a 2008, right?

38,640 would be invoice according to that list. People have been able to get $500-1,000 above invoice

according to Edmunds.com that's about $2k off MSRP going from the following:

MSRP $38,900
Metallic Paint $475
ZSP $1,700
Heated Seats $500
Split Rear Seats $475
Destination Charge $775
total MSRP of $42,825

Invoice shows at $38,650 (without destination)

I'd offer $40k
