Of all of the datacenters that I have been in, the majority look almost identical to this with cooling, power, cabling, etc. that are very similar.

Working in IT, the Google data centers impressed me with their cleanliness, organization, innovation and sheer size. I wasn't aware Google was building their own servers and that each server has its own battery backup compared to the traditonal UPS installations you see in data centers. Of course being in IT, these things interest me whereas I suppose the general public could care less. It makes me wonder if people even realize the thousands of servers, storage arrays, network switches and routers it takes to run things like Google or other social media sites for that matter.
