saw a brand new carrera gt tonight!
just got back from old town Pasadena...
right in front of the Mi Piace, i heard a car pull up to the valet w/ a very distinctive exhaust note...at first, i thought it was a Ferrari (it was at night) but it didn't look one so I crossed the street to take a closer look and voila! a brand new Carrera GT (black)...never saw one in person before! thing is absolutely beautiful. not too often you see a $500K car. |

Carrera GT's are actually pretty common in the SFV, I've seen a couple, actually this summer, I've seen one like almost once a week haha..

Edit: as it happened, I had a photo that contained the license plate from this car and it's the one you're referring to. This was taken at Premier Mobile Group's customer appreciation day in May of this year. That Pee car is crazy - no cats, straight pipes and louder than hell. I hope he keeps it at his business, otherwise his neighbors probably don't love the car much... Last edited by Cliff3; 08-04-2007 at 02:59 PM.. |

I might catch a little shit for this, but I would take a Carrera GT over an Enzo. The CGT is probly the purest sports car ever made, and the exhaust note is sexual. Listen to this Mirage GT, sounds like it's barking at you, crazy..
nevermind the terrible driver.. |

"Brand new"? I thought they stopped making them in mid-2006? Are they still in production?
Cadillac, I agree. I would take the CGT over just about anything, including the Enzo and Veyron. I could see myself driving a $500K car, but a $1.2 million+ would be a little hard for me to do. Although even the CGT is pretty difficult to drive on the street (although it's easier on you than the Enzo or Veyron).
