With metal keys making holes in your pocket I could see the point of the previous leather cover. Not sure why you need a case for the new style key?!? Unless of course you're into leather big time.

Cool! I really miss the cover from my E46 key.

It will help stop the buttons being pushed in your pocket. Some morning I go out to my car with all its windows down (due to open button being kept depressed in my pocket)
Luckily it has never been raining and that it is a fairly safe area.

Same here and dropped key a few times with graze to plastic, always used the supplied case on E46's and Z4.

my windows open when i open the door sometimes to get something out the car then shut when i shut the door

if you do a double click on the unlock button, (a certain option has to be set re: windows) it will open the windows half way, its easier to get into the car in tight spaces

Carlos...I don't know how you've managed to get out of the car in tight spaces without using this function. You must be skinny! I think you need to read your manual and find out all the wonderful things your car has to offer! He He!
