precautions for buttons before interior detailing?

Hi guys,
i m planning to give my car to a local detailer for detailing my interior of my e90 lci. I have seen people complain of paint peeling from the interiors like from the buttons & steering trim, anything i should warn the detailer about? like should i tell him to put masking tape on the buttons & steering trim to avoid the paint rubbing off later?

No tape, just clean around the buttons.

No offense meant here, but if you're that worried about the car it implies you don't trust the detailer. Maybe you should reconsider having the work done by that person?

i even warned him about the buttons when fixing an appoint on the phone today, its just my paranoia i guess..
