Lowest possible drop

Which coilover set offers the xi the lowest possible drop? I'm looking to have no wheel gap front and rear, currently have h&r springs and my car looks broken, the front is way up in the air and the rear is dumped. I've been searching but hearing many contradictions and getting frustrated looking at my car this way.

Any input is welcome, Thanks in advance.

these are KW V1's and not even spun all the way down, but there is no gap.

That's exactly what I've been wrecking my brain with the last week for my newly acquire e90 328i xdrive. Is upsetting to know that the H&R race springs with good struts could allow almost $600 of savings.

The whole reason I got the bimmer is because of the plethora of options I believed would be available vs my other cars but the limited springs & coils *stigma* is slowly setting in.

$1000+ for a .5" more drop(to kill the rake) is always a bit jarring. I know the coils are great but spring/strut combos can be just as effective when done right for my purposes.

Any nice & low springs out there?

That silver bimmer looks amazing btw

I advise going with coilovers, not sure which ones yet, the silver BMW above looks great but wondering if it will have the same look on my coupe.

Don't try and save money by going with springs, I wasted about $800 last weekend doing that (springs and install) and it looks terrible, I can't believe they would even manufacture something like this, very annoyed, but the only thing I can do to fix it is spend more money.

Dont make my same mistake, do it right the first time.

Damn, sorry to hear that...& I appreciate that advice. I gotta try to scrounge up this coil-over fund.

I am wondering if anyone can confirm or deny this.

I really want a set-up done for hellaflush Austin on the 17th and I'm on about a $600 suspension budget, I already have some wheels.

Why won't the H&R race springs play nice on the XI's?

That looks better but I'm not totally sold, would like to see if anyone has tried this with a coupe and the rear still looks lower than the front on there

Above is another xi with rwd race springs, if u scroll down u can see close ups, the front is still higher than the rear, honestly it looks like the front race springs would be a perfect match for the sport rear springs.... I don't know how bad of an idea that is though, I'm almost willing to try since I already have sports installed

Would like to have someone more knowledgable chime in to see if this would even work, are we sure that rwd race springs will work on an e92 335xi?

From what I am understanding there are some type of "perches"/"hats"(Idk the correct word)or something that we can swap out to get a bit more drop in the front

Im trying to get a sneak at the eibachs on an xdrive now.

Contact supreme power on here for the lowering perches up front. It will get rid of the reverse rake.

Thanks a lot for that!

I bit the bullet on h&r races last night....we'll see how this all plays out now. The perches could possibly put me too low up front adding to to already aggressive drop or I could just be one of the few who seems to get a "good" set of springs out of the box. Becoming so rare now-a-days

I'm going to try to run 18x9.5 +40 up front / +20 out back on 225/40s or 235/35s.

The perches with sport springs would still be too high, I may go with race springs if someone can confirm them working with a e92 335 xi
