Power upgrade 325d se 2010 lci thoughts?

Considering boosting the power a bit next year with a remap up to 330d levels around 240bhp. Same engine and gearbox so no problem mechanically, insurance extra £70 a year as well so thats covered.
Only concern is the car is an SE running on 17" wheels with SE suspension so would the extra power be too much for it to handle safely/comfortably?
Any thoughts/comments welcome.....

Might be wrong, but I think you have the newer engine which is identical to the the 330ds. In that case, a remap can see near 290bhp, exactly the same as a remapped 330d LCI!

I think this is one of the biggest gains achievable.

How wide are the rear 17 inch wheels?

I don't think you will have any issues as the standard SE suspension is still decent, might not be as fast around the twisties as the MSport setup and you may have a little less grip with the narrower rear tyres.

Front and rears are 225/45/17. Not ideal for the power but the ride is very good even on the rft's.

Just do it, the TC will help you rein the power in. Anyway, I'm sure you'll learn pretty quickly how much throttle to use to keep the thing in shape

They make 330d / 335d's in SE spec, so it will be totally fine.

Garage List
2012 E92 335d  [8.66]
I had a 325d LCI previously and the Evolve remap I had completely transformed the car, the gains were incredible. You will not regret it for a second.

I would definitely recommend increasing the rear tyre widths to the OEM Msport sizes - I wouldn't have wanted any less rear grip when remapped. The suspension will be fine.
