Performance exhaust and intake question

If I install a performance exhaust and intake will that void my warranty?

No. Technically, to have the Performance parts covered, they would have to be installed by a dealer. However, when is the last time you heard of someone needing warranty work on an exhaust or intake?

So when I need to get my car service I won't have to remove the intake or exhaust? What if I got an AA tune as well?

Forgive me but I'm noob at this kinda stuff. If I get the tuning for my car is there a piece of hardware that remains in the car or is it just a reprogramming of the computer?

dude the dealer isnt going to fuss about an air box and exhaust. The tune, maybe. But if something common goes wrong or fails they are not going to not cover it.

They would have to prove that your aftermarket airbox or exhaust caused the problem. which is impossible.

Was purchasing and having the exhaust installed by the dealer more or about the same price of having it order and installed by a shop?
