N54 Water Temp?

Hey guys what is the normal running temp for a N54 335i?

Before you say, " idiot your looking at the oil temp gauge!" I have the JB4 and have set the oil temp gauge to show water temp.

I have looked around and have seen it gets around ~200 degrees, does this sound right? Most of my searches including temperature just resulted in threads about oil temperature.

200-220F is normal for coolant temperatures

I have a question. Today I was on the highway where I did some hard pulls and as I was coming up to my exit I noticed the water temp had dropped down to around 180. Then as I came to a stop at the street light it came back up to 210 like normal. Could this be a sign the water pump is on its way out?

I have yet to see the water temp fluctuate like that, but I've done mostly city driving lately and this was the first time I've drove the car hard on the highway in a while.
