umm not the outcome I expected... RB should have walked the M5 considering the trap speed respectively for each

+1

That RB car should trap about 124-126mph while a stock M5 traps about 118-120mph.

I was pulling the M5 slowly but surely until the 5th gear, and had to let off. Dont underestimate the new M5, it put down 545whp STOCK according to the owner. There were rumors that it might have been tuned, but i dont think they were true...

Hey serge great run...your car was amazing out there. Too bad we couldn't run again, for sure we will next time.

It's been on two different dynos and the numbers consistently are much higher than the norm.

Here's the video.

Thanks for the video of very possibly my next car on the dyno

It was great meeting you! Thank you for the opportunity to run you too. I definitely want a re-match when we figure out the 5th gear problem... I was so disappointed when i had to let off in fifth being half a nose ahead, would have made for an epic photo finish...

I just realized that 545whp, with 15% drive train loss is about 625hp crank... Wait to underestimate BMW!

I'm getting an N54 335 soon. How much is the new M5 and how much do you need to spend for N54 mods to match its performance like this?

Serge with race gas and your mods you must be making well over 500hp.

On that run i left it in D and was on a full tank of 91 octane gas and yes that would of been a killer photo finish.

I will have tune ready by next event and will run both setups (stock/tune) so we can see the real difference. I may also have a new exhaust setup by then.

can't wait....great event!

I was at 500 rwhp 480rwtq at the event, that's as powerful as my car can be on ms109 at this time. Hopefully by the time you get the tune and exhaust, i will have the e85 tune and the transmission worked out, which will allow me to be in mid 500s. Your car is bad ass like i told you multiple times in person and i would trade you in a heartbeat Looking forward to seeing you at the next event, or maybe on the freeway

Trap speeds still don't match up.. weird.. I would think you would have walked away.

Given how well you did against the tuned E63 on the street, and how the E63 walked away from the M5 so hard, its weird.

overall 1/4 mile trap speeds are only a good indicator of how the car performs 0-80. The delta for most "normal" turbocharges cars are about 25mph in the last half of the 1/4mile; a delta comparision is a better indicator how well a car will acceleration 80+ mph

Great comparision of the two vehicle's, M5 is still FTW even if it technically lost
