valentine one

I was wondering where everyone is installing their anti-radar detector; next to the rear view mirror is where mine is at. The problem is in the summer where its really hot, do you take it out and hide in the glove compartment or let it absorb the heat?

Thanks

Same location for mine in the SoCal sun for the last 5 years. Still works fine. Heck, I just replaced the suction cups for the first time in 5 years.

Right below the rear view mirror. Been the same for about 10 years. (although I upgraded the unit 3 times over the course of those years).

Hard wired into overhead light then got top portion of windshield tinted so detector isn't visible by officers walking up to car or thieves
