EDIT went with Michelin pilot Alpin pa4: 1033$
+ 70$ mail in rebate.
Awesome tires rated for v rating of 145 mph- great on dry pavement. He said don't even worry about slowing down or missing a beat with these winters! It's supposed to be amazing in the winter - Tire Rack helped me pick these out!
I'm getting them mounted for 25 a wheel at Belford tire a renowned tire mounting and balancing installation place right across town dude, onto my 18 stock rims.
I will probably sell the Michelin pilots for a pretty penny too!!
Man what a great choice!!!

Don't get me wrong! They are better as a lot of other brands!!! And the word is that they got a lot better last 2 years...

Would be great if you would do a Write-up after 2-3 months with the michelins...

Aren't really known in Western Europe...

Every year the big german auto magazines do their testing with winter tires. In a pretty professional way! And for Michelin, untill 2 years, it was really not good... The first year were the whole thing came down on them, they finished 3th last just before some chinese no-name brand

They do have some better results now so i am curious...

There are sometimes tires offered in Europe that are not offered in North America and visa versa.

Thanks Gary. You guys are always ace! Looking forward to using these shoes this winter- hearing that we're in for it in the Tri-state. What is your take on the Alpin PA4s?

Michelin's are considered the best in numerous reviews for both studdless(x-ice) and performance(pilot alpin) winter tires. This includes tests beating Nokians.
