can I run E85 on dci and exhaust only with no tune. I've had one fuel pump replaced thats it. I was thinking of running 20/80 mix with 91

wouldnt do it without a tune. you won't be able to compensate for fueling demands and AFR.
even if you get away with 15/20 % ethanol, the hassle of using two pumps won't be worth any measurable reward in performance and it will only hurt gas mileage if anything. sure it could help with some stock timing maintenance but without a tune I doubt that's even an issue with 91-93 octane on stock boost levels.

The car will run better (no timing corrections since the octane rating will be closer to 93), but don't expect a 30 HP gain without a a tune

Doubt you would see any gains. I would guess you just burn more gas and get less mpg and the car feel the same or worse. But I'm actually curious to find out!

I'm in a similar boat. I want to try out E85 but I'm actually running Procede v5.
The problem is it's not easy for me to switch map files on the fly, and currently I'm running the 4_23 maps. I could upload the 9_10 maps but can I run the non-e85 maps and try out something like a 20eth/80gas mix for any benefit? Because I know I won't be running e85 very often.... and it will be a pita for me to switch back and forth. |

Ive done it, filled up 30% E85. No difference. Pointless to say the least.
Just got a JB4 the other week and now its the only thing ill fill up with (mixed) Huge difference with a tune

Do you run E85 specific maps? That's what my question boils down to. I have procede but don't really want to switch to the e85 maps.
