Steering wheel cover painted/ wrapped?
My steering wheel cover is starting to peel ever-so-slightly as they commonly do.
I was thinking of getting it painted or wrapped but was wondering if any members on here have done so sucessfully? My car has piano black interior, so maybe have the wheel done to match? |

Someone just posted one of thesr covers for sale and looking at his pics it appears that the bright trim comes off easily so wrapping should be doable. I like the stock look but not the peeling, wonder if matte black vinyl will hold up? I may do this as I also need to replace the heated steering wheel module thing...

I bought an oem replacement . Saw a DIY on how to change it out. Was only 30 min. Or less. I hate that worn out shit look. The drivers door arm rest and switches are next. I like the black look on the wheel as Germany decided

It's an M sport wheel with paddles. If I replace it with an OEM one, then I will have the same wear problems further down the line, and the part is roughly £80 from the stealers!
It's not too bad at the moment, and whilst the wheel is off the car I want to sort it out before refitting. |

I wrapped my steering wheel cover in carbon, looks spot on, wearing well, I'll post a picture later.
