Will coding out bulb checks fix hyper flash from replacement LED turn bulbs??
I bought a few bright white LED bulbs to replace my turn signal bulbs. They are not CANBUS bulbs (local supplier didn't have any) but they look amazing. If I code out all the check bulb programs will this stop the hyper flash I get or does only canbus bulbs stop hyper flash?
Thanks in advance!! |

Turn off cold and warm checks. On top of the hyper flashing, the LEDs will strobe when ignition turns on (cold checks) and after 15 or so minutes of driving (warm checks) which can present a dangerous situation when driving.

It is kinda hard to tell from your comment (the way you said "On top"), but are you saying that disabling cold and warm checks will stop the hyper flashing?

Sorry yes, it will disable the hyper flashing.
I was saying, in addition to no more hyper flashing, if you turn off the warm and cold checks it will disable all flickering. Most people don't notice the warm check flickering since it happens while you're driving, but its not a good thing to have happening. |

Good to know, I do have a canbus side marker LED that doesn't create any bulb error messages but I have noticed it flashing on startup (cold check) and while driving (warm check). Thanks for clearing this all up guys. Can't wait to start coding myself, this website has soo much good info!
