Inter cooler Install Question

Would it be possible to remove the stock intercooler without cutting off the factory clamps? When I installed ETS 5" on my E92 coupe I didn't think there was a way to remove the piping without cutting off the factory clamp.

Thanks,

If you're lucky, you can get a flathead screwdriver into the seam / joint of the clamp and get it to open. Cutting it is easier, in my opinion. In any case, those BMW clamps are one-time use only. I'm still awake so feel free to text me if you are attempting anything now!

There are some suggestions here: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=278126

I dont think so.... Seems way to hard to snap that tube off w/o cutting.

Nope. Just cut it off, when it comes time to go stock use a t-bolt clamp.

Factory clamp can be bent open & then resold/reused
