Hey guys i just had my AR design catless DP's installed on my 335xi and couple things going wrong. 1 is i always had a little rattle on my car thought it was the wastegate rattle, never really bothered me but now after the dp's are installed i feel like its a lot louder. (idk if that makes sense). Also my car is alittle jittery with the boost, after going WOT or just driving for 15 mins or so my car goes into reduced engine power mode and is throwing these 2 codes
-2e8e
-30ff

Yes autoclear is on and it still continues to go into limp mode every time i turn by car back on and drive around.
What would you guys suggest that i can try without going back to shop right away.

Thanks, Ant

It sounds like the downpipes were not installed correctly.

Your sensors could be backwards. This originally happened on mine & I got the same symptoms. Reduced power, bad shudders. It's because the DME tries to correct the AFRs for the wrong cylinder back & it just fucks everything up

I've read that backward sensors will not cause the 30ff code. It could be something else.

Yep, just switch the primary DP sensors. You can switch which o2 sensor connects into the DME hardwiring by just removing the underbody guard (prob need 2 jacks or ramps)

If its the rear sensors then it will be easy...If its the ones in the front by the DPs, it will be a headache
