Oil leak near the blow off valve?
Hi, it looks like one of the connections near the blow off valve is leaking oil, and I'm wondering if that's normal. It's not a huge leak, since I only have to add about half a quart between oil changes. Is this due to blow by, or is there something wrong with my car? I tried to take a picture:

I don't see a BOV (just the OEM DVs) or any oil?

I think he is talking about near the brake booster line. That oil is just seepage from the blow by vapors of the crankcase.

Need a new o-ring in the chargepipe. I pulled them out to measure and ordered ones that were a tiny bit fatter, but I can't remember what size. They are not available from BMW separately. I ordered a bag of them from McMaster-Carr.
It could also be oil from an oil filter housing leak making its way down there, but that usually cakes dirt on the front of the motor.

I can do that. I have my stock CP to dig out the o-ring and take a measurement. The factory ring is an odd-sized metric and I think there was a regular metric ring that was a tiny bit fatter.
