Hello all,

I have one of my laptops for sale. It is a Early 2011 MBP 13 + Charging adapter

It will have a blank copy of 10.8.2 Mountain Lion

What it has:

2.3GHz Dual Core i5 Processor
8GB 1333MHz Memory
Intel HD 3000 with 512 VRAM
Thunderbolt Port
128GB SSD + 320GB HDD
NO OPTICAL CD DRIVE

This laptop has 2 Storage drives in it. A 128GB Crucial SSD + a 320GB HDD in place of the CD drive.

This is an awesome way to have an incredibly fast machine with also allowing for the extra disk space a SSD does not offer. I currently have it set to back up through time machine the SSD onto a partition on the HDD!

I have every Apple Certification possible basically, I work at an Apple Specialist store and have extensive history in repair. I hold the Apple Certified Mac Technician title.

I list this to explain that the SSD installed and the removal of the optical drive in place of an extra HDD was done under all of the appropriate tools using an ESD safe workbench. Not some guy in his basement!

The RAM was upgraded using the same brand as APPLE OEM.

It does have some scuffing and has a ding on the top left corner. All pictured.

This machine scored a 6088 on GeekBench, for reference a 2012 Retina 13 scores 6800~

I can ship, I will split the cost of shipping with the buyer.

Thanks!

i'm thinking about taking out my optical drive as well, and upgrading to 8gb ram because my superdrive doesn't work anymore.

how fast is it?

It is basically as fast as a retina now, the SSD makes a world of difference.

I have SSD's in all of my Apple computers and absolutely HATE using normal HDD now!

How did you get TM to backup onto an on board partition?

Well I backed up into the other internal HD, not the same drive as the operating system.
