Some questions~need members who lives in NYC to help~
I would like to know how many bridges and tunnels in NYC??
I only know brooklyn bridge, Manhaattan bridge, one bridge which link SI and Brooklyn(I forgot how to spell~) I know that some bridges and tunnel that we have to pay the fee but I don't know the exactly information~ I feel that NAVI is pretty convenient to me however, I want to go to some places where I don't have the address~(for example,La Guardia Air port) Can I use NAVI by key in the place's name instead of key in the address?? Thanks for any help |

Well, let's see. We have the Henry Hudson Bridge, George Washington Bridge, Throgs Neck Bridge, Bronx Whitestone Bridge, Triborough Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge...and I'm sure there are more. Tunnels are Lincoln Tunnel, Queens Midtown, Brooklyn Battery, and Holland Tunnel.
As far as iDrive, yeah it doesn't give any info on tolls or fares--except it does tell you that it is a toll road, but as far as I know, you can look up pretty much any landmark and the navi will plot the course--without knowing the address. Search for restaurants, malls, stadiums, or anything like that. |

Also there's the Williamsburg Bridge, Queens Borough Bridge, Outerbridge Crossing, Goethals Bridge, Bayonne Bridge, and Kosciusko Bridge.

The NAV has a pretty cool function that can look up information by city. Plug the city and then areas of interest - i.e. transportation and it will list local aiports, restaraunts, etc.
Used it to get to the train station the other day without the exact address.
