Ah the joys!

Its nearly Christmas and the car develops a fault!

Over the weekend, I return to my car, attempting to reverse out the car:

Now, to my shock I could not turn the steering wheel unless a lot of pressure was applied and the engine, lets say it didn't sound healthy!

So just returned the car to the parking sport and called the recovery guys.

They came over and inspected the vehicle and noticed the crankshaft pulley fell off! I was like WTF! They showed me with their torch and said this cannot be driven back, so got it towed!

What sort of prices am I looking at to get this repaired? and does this have any knock-on effect?

The belt looks to be intact but not sure whats advised here!
