Any A/T's out there breaking axles? Pics inside
LOL this is my 3rd axle I've broke. Im A/T I was doing a Highway pull yesterday and as soon as to hooked it tore my Half shaft of the CV. haha and when i don't break axels My transmission gets shift failures , My car is a tourqe monster
First time i broke my axle i was at the strip power breaking and when i launched it broke, 2nd time i was on stock turbos FBO doing a highway pull, Now I'm FBO,RB's, 100% Meth cm14, Walbro, ISO g5, BMS flash. and i raped my axle within a week of getting the car back.. 2nd Fastest e93? other than the Singled turbo one Needless to say i need LSD. ANy A/Ts out there going through HAlf shafts? i thought it was a M/T issue, but i guess not. Or is it just me? Share your Axle breaking story Pics below enjoy! |

I agree with what was said above, got to pay to play. That is one of the reasons why I have to slow my roll now in regards to modifications. Once you pass a certain level all sorts of things start to reach their limits. However, to those that continue forth to find these limits, kudos to you.

Agree. I have a spare set of axles (paid tischer prices, ouch!) that I want to get upgraded for my MT car, but have not come up with the appetite to spend another $1,000 after I bought the axles.

The sad thing is no one really does half shaft axle upgrades for the AT either. I sent mine to DSS only to find out that they only do it for the MT. Wonder if there's anyone else out there that does.

I think so. Not sure if cn555ic is faster i have never dynod my car but he's running Nos and stock turbos. so dynes should tell
but either way Its safe to say the 2nd and 3rd fastest e93 is Montego blue (at least forum member wise) don't know of any RB'd or Nos verts in the world right now. |

OP - sorry to hear about that. Good luck with the next set.
For what its worth, I've had no issues with my setup. I am mostly doing highway pulls in 3rd and 4th. I've got a wavetrac LSD, stock axles and suspension. I'm also running 255 street tires, so I mainly break traction before anything breaks. Next year, I'll do my 1/4 runs (hopefully the new NHRA rules kick in for Sacramento) and see what happens. The divfab stuff looks really nice.
