Expected tread life - Pirelli P Zero RFTs
I know everyone is going to say ditch the RFTs but I am going to wait until I burn the tread down on my current set first. I am running a staggered setup, 225/35R19 and 255/30R19. I don't drive like a maniac but do occasionally push my car.
I have read various reviews and opinions but wanted to see what actual owners have experienced. How many miles do you guys get out of these tires? Do you typically have to replace all four at once or do two need replacing before the others due to the stagger. Thanks |

I would change all 4 at the same time. Most people on here will tell you not to run mixed tire brands. Buy a set of 4 and sell the front tires if they have a lot of tread left on them

cool thanks guys. was curious if anyone could give me a range? I've heard as low and 12,000 miles and as high as 40,000. Doubt the 40,000 is actually attainable though. Kinda feel like they will las 15-20k

For summer tires, even with no track days, I think a good rule of thumb is 20K miles. Anything more could be considered a bonus, anything less and either the tires wear very fast, or you drove them fairly hard.

I've been through two sets of P-Zero RFTs on my 2010 E92 (ZCP w/ 19" 225Ms). Each set has been good for at least 12K and I've pushed them to 15K but they really ride like crap and handle poorly.
