I scratched my clear coat really bad! HELP!
I had set two large cardboard boxes down on my trunk, their was no metal staples or anything else on the outside of the boxes just cardboard so I didn't think it would scratch my paint. I scooted the boxes over, and when I lifted them up there was a 10'' long, and 1'' wide streak marks in my clear coat it looks horrible, what can I do, what products do you recommend for clear coat repair?

If you CANT feel the scratch with your fingernail, then you should be able to polish it out. If you can, then you're SOL unfortunately

meguiars 105 with an Adams green pad, then follow up with meguiars 205 with Adams orange or white pad should do the trick with a random orbital buffer.

^^^What he said, I use menzerna but meguiars is great stuff. Good luck man. If you do not have the stuff I am sure there is someone in your area with everything you need. If you want to get into detailing it is always nice to have the stuff around and plenty of people on this forum have good experience with it.

If you don't have the right equipment, have a professional do it. And not some local hack either. Sounds like a cardboard box would not cause irrepairable damage, so just take a deep breath and know that some compounding will take care of it.
