You guys said in another post that you will be making piping with a remote location for the filter so it will be a cold air setup... When will this be available and will it be a whole new intake system, or will it make this short ram a cold air intake???

You can add me to the list.

Will the color of the filter be purple and blue like in the pic? I love the performance end of it, but the colors look kind of gay, IMO.

So wait, do you love the performance, or are you more fashion conscious? If the latter, then wouldnt the color of the filter be more appropriate? Otherwise, you can just keep your hood closed LOL.

TO THE OP:How come its a 45 minute install process? Thats longer than installing the PROcede and you arent plugging any tiny wires in.

Some Q's and A's: Colors--
As far as colors go...the mfg (S & B) uses different color filter oils--blue, pink, yellow, NO green!) for various private lable end customers. Yes there are a lot Name brand filters out there all made by S & B. We use pink as it is the easiest to see (turns grey then black) when particulates pile up, and it's time for maint. The K & N (brand) service kit also uses pink oil, which is the kit we recommend for maint intervals.
Color metal tops are: Blue, Red, Black and Chrome. S & B has dropped various other colors, including my favorite (NOT!) metalflake purple

The 45 min. is an approx time, as this also includes oe equip removal time.
The gear clamp on turbo #2 duct is a little tricky--unless you first remove the plastic tray that shrouds it . Our installs are now down to 10 minutes.

I think so too... Every dyno reads different though... The good thing is it doesnt matter in this case, we get to see the gain from just the intake and its about 13whp... Im pretty sure that bavdom wont make better gains with their replica of the Gruppe M so im going with the smarter choice here and not paying close to $1,000 for an intake...

Ok, 10 mins makes sense. Thats basically what Ive gotten installing/removing a BOV down to and basically its the same parts.
