I had the same black streaks on the side, especially where the seat belt is.
I used Lexol leather cleaner, followed the directions, and the black marks came out np Follow it up with Lexol leather conditioner. I too have beige leather seats in my 1er

Any qualtiy leather cleaner will do, try and get a PH blanced one. If you want OTC product Lexol is best choice. If going boutique you cannot go wrong with either Leatherique or Leather Master systems. You coulf alternatively try a warm damp cloth with a very slight amount of woolite and then a warm clean damp damp cloth immediately after but I 'd truly suggest a dedicated cleaner.
Where are you in Cali, I mioght have some to spare for you to try. |
