FWD Baby Bimmers
With the Oxford plant 100 years old it would be great to have a whole new range of BMW,s built in the UK next to the MINI. There has been a lot of negative remarks about FWD posted on here from purists but I rekon we will see an exciting range of vehicles from BMW that will be hard to ignore!

The next generation of 1er will likely be all fwd, leaving the 2 Series on the rwd platform.

just because Mercedes does them, it doesn't mean BMW should.
The mini line-up is very well executed (not everyone agrees, in fact I'm not a big fan of the countryman and paceman), but the Mini, Cabriolet, Coupe, Roadster, are basically what you have rendered, so I really don't see the point. Mini have imo one of the best fwd setups of any manufacturer. Let Mini do the cheap(er) and cheerful, and leave BMW alone.
