If you press the menu button on the right you should have an option for 'tel' if theres no phone icon and theres just dashes then you dont have it otherwise if the icon IS there use the right audio dial to select it by pushing the dial.

Aii give them a shout pal. May have been led up the garden path with that one. You could insist on a retrofit if its not got it. I'm assuming its not got the 'shark fin' oon the roof either.

OK just been confirmed that Bluetooth is not present with my car so the next Q I have is if I swap my HU with a BMW Professional BT Unit and then get the associated wiring for the phone will this work? or do I need to get the Dension 500s BT?
any help appreciated |

TBH I am trying to aviod the parrot route as I like the dash layout and dont really want to ad to it which is why I am looking at either replacing the current HU witha BT one or installing the Dnsion kit I think either way its going to set me back circa £500 for the dension or £300 for a 2nd hand BT Head Unit so if anyone has any experience of this please let me know

I looked in to the Dension about a year ago & rang a number of the "installers" on their website, most of the ones I contacted didn't want anything to do with Dension & the only one prepared to do the install wouldn't guarantee that it would work in the car - needless to say I gave up on the idea
