GREAT misfiring!!!Help anyone....
last night when i was coming home and got on the ramp to 275 i figured id floor it a little to get in front of another car suddenly my ses light started flashing and noticed the car began to kind of vibrate if i gave it just a little bit of gas so i tried to keep it cruising steady at 60 and after about a mile the ses light went away and he car felt normal again. once i got home i used my jb4 to read me the codes and i got this
29cd misfire cylinder 1 29cf misfire cylinder 3 29d2 misfire cylinder 6 29ce misfire cylinder 2 29cc misfire in multiple cylinders my car is stock besides jb4 and dci. any input would be great i'm thinking the first thing i'm going to do is change all 6 spark plugs and see if that helps in anyway. sucks being out of warranty this car has given me an issue just about every month sense i brought it first the water pump then the head valve seal and oil filter housing seal now this. i've only had the car for about 4 months and it has 100,000 miles. |

Spark Plugs first. Then do down the line from there, coil pack, injector, HPFP, LPFP.

so updates i changed spark plugs today they looked pretty bad and i hadn't changed then since my head gasket seal was replaced, seemed like cylinder 2 and 4 were pretty soaked in oil.
drove the car a few mins ago and she pulls so much better now and no more back fire s far. i tried cleaning the intake valve followed the DIY but just couldn't do it i think I'm going to wait and find someone to give me a deal on walnut blasting to see if i can that done instead of trying to do it with carb cleaner and a gun brush |

Did you smell them? If its fuel that usually means your injectors are leaking. If its oil it may time for a new valve cover gasket. |

I've had this problem for a couple of months now.. When at WOT is backfires like I have antilag, see light comes up, then leaves after a couple of minutes of cruising. If I get to a light it starts shaking so I shut the off the car and restart and its fine after that.. I'm still under warranty but I should I remove dci and jb4 for a job like this??

So if I bring the car to the dealer, do I just tell them to check out and see what there is going on with the car? I know that if jb4 is on map 0 it doesn't misfire. It only does it like you at WOT 4,5oo rpm when jb4 is on. I'm just confused on what I should tell the dealer.. Do I mention any misfire? I need to service it soon too!

I'm getting cyl 5 misfires too. Just diagnose it by swapping coil packs and move from there until you found the issue. I had cyl 3 misfires over the summer and it was injectors. I'm ruling out spark plugs in my situation since they were replaced 7k miles ago. Here's a really helpful video cobb made:

If a car has misfires in all cylinders, it's clear that the fault is not from per-cylinder components like spark plugs, injectors or coils. Don't waste your money and keep looking.
