Found a great deal on some style 162 18" wheels with tires. 255/35/18 tires all the way around.

Would this put even more apace between my tires and the fenders than I already have with my 17" stock setup? I have 225/45/17 all the way around.

I want 18" wheels but don't want to accentuate the SUV look with the xi suspension!

Those two tire sizes are essentially the same diameter, so no, the tire to fender would not look any different. (The 18's are 0.055" bigger)

255/35/18 is really wide up front. If you haven't already, you might want to do some research to make sure they won't rub with that wheel and tire combo.

That was a concern in the front. I'm going to pass on it and wait to do the KW V1's first....then find some M style OEM wheels to fit.

Thanks for the reply!

I have a 2008 e90 335xi with sport pack, it came from factory with type 162 with 225/40 fronts and 255/35 rears. No issue at all, plenty of room there. If it has 255/35 all around, these aren't the right tire size for xi...
