I wonder if carbon fiber material is strong enough for a wheel? Hmm.
Why not just use titanium for wheels, that would be a perfect 10lb wheels in 19" |

It' aluminum with a cosmetic layer of carbon over it. Looks cool but, not anything too special. Read the 3rd paragraph.
http://www.360forged.com/ I'll take some Dymags. |

Looks like they know how to market their wheels even tho they only have 1 set out.

Although I would be happy with forged magnesium wheels like the BBS RE-Mg's. |

Hmmm...I dunno...personally I'm starting to get sick of seeing carbon fiber on cars these days...mainly because 99.999% of the time you see it on the car, it's not even real. Meh...
Carbon fiber has been perverted from something genuinely used to reduce weight in racing...to just a "look". |

The one bad thing about the CF cover is that it would be difficult to repair cosmetically?

CF adds something to the overal strenght of the aluminium core, so it's not only cosmetic usage, even if I admit it's used mostly for this reason. Anyway, pretty light wheels, cool design, acceptable price for this class of wheels, remarkable quality.
The dymag's are even lighter, but U know, for almost double the price...
