usb/serial cable, laptop, Procede = boost guage?
So, just to see how my car is running, can the procede with a laptop be used as a make shift boost guage? I was thinking of running the cable into the glove box like the other post mentioned.

the procede uses a map sensor PRE throttle body, so the boost your getting is not what the manifold is seeing, and you will never see vaccum as well as much higher than actuall boost right before the diverter valves open
that said, it is pretty accurate if you ignore the spikes when the throttle has been closed or near closed and dont care about vaccum for me at least that reading has been the same as my gauge |
