navigation traffic issue
It seems that while the navigation has traffic data and dynamically reroutes you, it does not factor traffic (and maybe not even speed limit) into the estimated arrival time. Anyone notice this? I've checked all the settings and can't find anything about it.

I too, am having similar issues with traffic rerouting. It should be simple, and yet I haven't found an answer.

Do you guys get traffics information on local street too or just highway? I have 2011 E92 with 2011 Maps.

Unfortunately, it's only major highways or state roads. The traffic needs a lot of improvement, IMO. I'm not sure if it's a downloading the data issue or if it's Sirius Traffic altogether, but they really should switch to at least using data from Google Traffic.

If you have a smartphone, check out Waze. Amazing navigation app that uses the reports from other Waze users to help with your routing. I'm in Philly with maybe thousands of Wazers, and it works amazingly well.
Plus, the maps are updated within a couple weeks of a road change. PS - It's free. |

Waze will even give verbal instructions via bluetooth. My '10 E92 with iDrive handles it through the communication/telephone interface.
Plus, its directions are often a lot better than the BMW's. |

Maps Not Showing Street I am Driving On...
So the maps on my navi are not showing the street I am actually driving on and when I brought the car into the dealer they said the head unit had to be replaced...
What exactly does that mean? Thank you |
