Anybody drive with the turbo tuner then the jb2

Does the jb2 feel stronger than the turbo tuner seat of the pants wise or are they basicly the same gains.Im thinking about it but if its the same whats the point.

Has a turbo tuner car ever trapped 108? Serious question. I don't think I've ever seen any turbo tuner trap speeds.

I really haven't seen many turbo tuner traps either. Here is one though, 102 mph @ LACR. Hotrod182's stock sedan on the same run trapped just 1 mph lower on the same run. Not a big improvement.

Its funny because the car felt so much faster than stock but the times arent much better.Maybe its time to sell the turbo tuner.

But don't forget that's LACR where trap speed and ET will be the worse. I can't recall what trap speed I was getting with the Turbo Tuner but at German Invasion I got a best of 13.39 at 103mph with the PROcede. Best trap speed with the PRocede on a different day was 105mph.

My best time with the Turbo Tuner was a 13.7x.

Some guys think Hotrod182's is a "ringer".

If the engine bay or intake air gets too hot I think the Turbo Tuner will decrease the boost.

Well, let's know based a decision on other time slips on a drag strip with high altitude. If there's a drag strip near you do some runs with it stock then install the Turbo Tuner and see what you get.

First I had the Turbo Tuner, then tried something else, now I am back to the Turbo Tuner again.

Well, the car is very fast and im happy with it.When I need more ill get the procede.Im just too short on time to do the proceed install.People seem to be having issues with limp mode more often these days with procede. My turbo tuner never gives me any problems.

There are 10 times as many PROcedes on the road than every other tuning option combined. This is why you see more PROcede users having to troubleshoot. Comparing apples to apples, the PROcede is no more troubleprone than anything else. It just needs to be installed properly and that's what we help people out with.

As for MAP clamps (TT, JB, etc,.) I'm not sure that sacrificing substantial functionality for 10-30 minutes of installation time is a good idea on something that you will drive and enjoy every day.

I have 28,640 Miles (20,000 miles with Procede) No major problems I used to have a few limp modes on older maps but not an everyday occurance I haven't been limp in months. And when it happens I just restart and I'm all good. It's so rare its not even an issue to me.Some people do have problems I dunno why though it's strange, Supposedly v2.0 is Problem Free we shall see.

As from what I've read on V2 they say all these issues will be resolved in regards to limp mode. Workin on these DP I have seen many Procede owners. Only a handful have had limp mode issues and most are still very happy with the product. As Shiv said above you gotta compare the amount of people running Procede which is far greater than users of other products. In regards to install its very simple anybody can read the DIY and do it in a resonable amount of time.

All you really need to do is find a friend or realative with a lap top and use theirs. I wouldn't think you would need to play with the MAP too often so invite a friend over and give him a beer to drink while you play with the MAP....everyone wins!
