335is production run

Does anyone know how many 335is were produced? I know they started in may 2010 as 2011 models, when are they stopping e92 production, this April?

Same here. I know we have a rare beast. I have seen just 2 other 335is' in the last year and a half that I have had mine, but would be nice to know just how rare they are.

Production of the 335is will stop in March or April of this year

By what is apparent, dealers only stock one or two of these on their lots, and they are mostly ordered. So they are the lease produced 3 series

They are very rare to find and to be seen

So when the 335is production ends, I think the Z4 IS will be the only remaining BMW with the N54.

Also subscribed!

My father just joined the IS club. It is his first BMW and now turning 60, he finally crossed the boarder from Nissans to BMW. I am elated that he finally did it, and obviously I have my eye on it in 3-5 years.

Le Mans blue/saddle brown, 6mt, fully loaded. Its truly a beautiful car. When the weather warms up, I'll upload pics to the 335is thread.

Because I get bored and get into a new car every 3-6 months and I usually end up missing the 3 series and go back to it. I lease them, and have someone takeover my lease on swapalease then lease a new one. So it's not like I am trading in and taking any big hit. It has worked quite well for me so far.

I've never seen one in person, even at the two local dealerships. Heck, I've only ever seen 3 or 4 M3's in my lifetime... not many BMW's around here

As much as I want to, I am sure once I see a new 4 series in person It will be hard not to upgrade, but I will at least wait until they make something to take the place of the 335is.

Indirectly, the M4 is suppose to be the successor to the 335is. I have a feeling though it not going to be worth jumping into if your are already a 335is "owner"

I originally thought that production was going to end sometime in 2012, so I snagged one. Regardless, I'm glad I did. It barely hit 1k miles last weekend!

Isn't the M4 going to be the 4 door version of the M3?

Yeah pretty much... I would expect the 435is to be the "successor" to the 335is, which I guess won't come after the 435i is a year or two into production..

Its the other way around. The M4 is the coupe version of the 4 door M3

Thats if it comes as DCT. That why I said the M4 would be, indirectly speaking, the successory of the 335is, as the 355is will be the M4 challenger on the streets
