Anyone install a K&N filter in a 335i?
I can't seem to find any info on installing the K&N replacement filter on the 335i...has anyone out there done this? Is there anything I need to look out for or "tricks" that would have made your install easier?
If no one has any info I'll post a follow-up w/pictures..unless it is a very straight forward install. Hopefully it will stop raining around here so I can get this installed and tested...

pop the clips off the airbox, remove the lid, remove the oem filter, put k&n in, replace lid, fasten clips, DONE!!. Super easy!!

Thanks...I didn't think BMW would make it difficult to change the filter. I haven't had a chance to spend any quality time in the garage with this car yet...but I will this weekend

The hardest part I had was finding the filter... ended up special ordering it through Kragen.

Strange, I ordered the filter directly from K&N. Shipped pretty fast, I think I had the filter within 3 days of ordering online.
Sorry about the 330ci. I had something similiar happen (check out the pic in the garage). The one thing I can say is that it happened exactly 3 weeks before the 335i came in...still, that car was the reason I ordered the 335i without ever seeing or driving it.
