VAG COM cable question

Hello,

At the workshop i work we recently bought a vag com cable set and i wonder if the cable is compatible with INPA. I'm asking here cause maybe some of you use it or have knowledge of it working with bmw coding.
Thank you for your help.

I know there's mods you can do by soldering a transistor and resistor to certain obd pins and the ftdi chip pins but its a huge PITA. I've ruined two chips this way bc I apparently suck at soldering small things. I bought this thing from radio shack with a magnifying glass and clamps that I've been practicing with so I think attempt 3 will be a success. This will only work with kcan compatible vehicles, though (1998-2007)
