ok well i raced my friends acura tl.

2006 acura Tl (AUTO)
-comptech SC
-crank pully
-tune
-downpipes

2007 BMW e92 328i (manual)
sports package AKA Stock

we raced tons of times i never lost unless i missed a gear even then it was still close.

0-100 bmw win by 2 car lengthes..
20-115 bmw win 1 length
40-125 very even

just thught id let u 328 haters that its not that slow !

honestly i am a huge Honda and Acura fan and i own a 328i and i don't believe that a comptech SC on a TL isn't faster than the 328i. can your friend drive? i know its auto but come on.

edit: is it a TL type S? they are 286 HP before the supercharger. that damn car should be pushing 350 pony's.

i knew i should of got it on camera . it was a 2006 TL sc with mods and a stock 328 will beat it every time from any mph. im pretty sure he can drive the auto lol.

another car my friend has is a srt4 60-130 was so even 0-100 differnt story bmw win 1-2 cars.

and for those who think they cant drive ive been driving a stick for only 2 weeks its my 1st stick car. and it hauls for 230 hp and 3300 pounds !

i swear. why would i lie ? we raced over 15-20 times same results.

only in 3rd gear and higher is he able to keep up. i didnt want t race fearing i would get owned but every one who was there was suprised.

Something is extremely wrong with his car. Seriously, I've seen supercharged TL's run low 13s, mid to low 13s in AT. Considering what my old non sc'd tl-s used to do to the E46 330s, i'm completely positive a properly running sc'd tl would have no problem destroying a 328. Heck, a lot of them are running faster 1/4s than 335s.

But seriously, somethings wrong with your friend's car. Either that or he's lying to you. I've never heard of "downpipes" on a n/a honda. Neither do I know anyone who'd run an SC and headers ("downpipes") without a catback. Thus, he has no mods that you can see without popping the hood. Which means that he's probably stock, which means that its apparently a drivers race.

u didnt beat an srt4 ... i highly doubt that.. from a dig.. his 0 - 60 is like 1.5 seconds faster.. am i wrong?

That one didnt even have the high boost pulley.

well guess what im not lying.. sorry he had a crank pully not high boost pully . hes getting the high boost pully now since i beat him.

idn why you gys think the 328 is so slow i knwo the times arent as low but the car is doing it. 0-60 for srt4 is not 1.5 sec lower more like .3-.4 .

know what im just going to start making videos to prove it . but im sure then another exuse will come up. rolling i stay with the srt-4 dig bad lanch on his part or not i won. and im the inexperienced stick driver.

keep in mind guys a (auto) 328 1/4 time was hitting 14.8 -14.9 all night . owner of the closed website e92club.com showed slips

he does have a sc and its comptech and its tuned i was there when he got it.

i see and hear the sc . I have no reason to lie as i thought i would loose every race easily. but no i need some time slips to prove my case i see.

here is a message he wrote to me on my myspace.

exactly. They hit 14.8s and 14.9s all night. Stock tl's run those all night as well. And a supercharged TL is far from a stock one. 14.8-14.9 isnt slow, but its not hardly as fast as a supercharged TL. And seriously, why does this have to do with 335 haters? Obviously if you can beat supercharged TL, then we can. And personally, in my experiences with TLers, i'd consider a SC'd TL running H/E/P to be a drivers race against a stock 335i on the best of days for us. Meaning that i'd go into it expecting to lose.

It's not even about excuses. It doesnt bother me if a 328 beats a SC'd TL. I hold no allegiance to either car. But seriously, if what you say happened, happened, i'm forced to believe that your friend's car is hardly as modified as he says it is. You dont have to prove it, because frankly, most of us don't care. Videos are always nice though.So how about you take a video of this guy's engine bay and then go heads up. I wish you the best of luck. Really, I do. But seriously, nothing logical says you should win.

Sorry if I come off like a jerk though. Sunday nights are depressing.

Edit: I just read your last post. And seriously, I have no words. That is completely out of the ordinary. Stock TL's run the same 1/4th time, and sc'd TL's are just sick fast. You'd have to have an extreme factory freak to even stand a chance. Or maybe they put a n54 under your hood by mistake. Because, it still makes absolutely no sense.

my point he has more mods plus drag radials in the front with an intercooler and exhaust (doesnt say stick or auto) . my car should be around 14.4 14.5

14.8 is a auto 328 which is .6 slower to 60.....

sorry but i can beat it and it has what i say it has .. and your 335 will run past him in a race. stock tl are not fast 0-60 is like 6.8?

325 xi? id say huge gap because of the xi alone . e92 328 are 100 pounds lighter than e90 as well i think ive read.

he cud have easily lost if he wasn't hitting the high rpms...

i usually dont hit 6k on my car even when i drive in the hillies... but i do it for fun on occasion.
