RB Turbo/JB4 track times: 11.1@129
Just saw a slip posted from BMS' 135 automatic running RB turbos, JB4 G5 ISO, BMS flash, BMS downpipes, BMS DCI, BMS meth, etc. They modified the flash tune for more transmission line pressure which helped but it's still slipping in 2nd gear if boost is over 17psi. So they used the JB4 to limit boost in 2nd and managed a best of 11.1@129 on a very soft 1.8 60' time! Might be an automatic trans non-nitrous trap record.

That's real fast. If they could even knock off .1 off their 60 ' time they would run a 10.9X .

The car could run deep into the 10's with a good trans and launch. Remember, it already ran 11.2's on the stock turbos while driving up there on the same Nitto DRs that it ran on.

Just for those who don't know, it's gutted. So it's more than 500 lbs lighter than a stock e92 335i. By the way Mike, did Terry take his kids car seat out for that run?
You have to give credit where credit is due. Good job Terry. I'm just pissed that the track here is still closed for the season and I can't go play. |

3373lb 135i, 3561lb E92 335i, more like 220 lbs. E90, for reference, curbs at 3605lb.

He should run it over a CAT scale. Would be cool to see where he is truly sitting with power to weight now. I'm sure the numbers would be nice. |

Why are you comparing it to a E90? You could compare it to the E92 since the 135 is only available as a coupe.

Hence why I stated "for reference". The E92 was what I directly compared it to.
