Pre-Delivery Insoection
Hi All,
Hoping to have a delivery date for my recently ordered E90 soon, and wondered if anyone has any advice regarding how to avoid the dealer installing free-of-charge swirl marks as part of the PDI!! My current BMW (E60) is Jet Black and had some fairly major swirling before I even drove it off the forecourt  Any advice you can give would be gratefully received ![]() |

I couldn't bring myself not to have them valet it as I didn't fancy picking up a dirty car. They didn't do an awful job, just not a particularly good one. You can always get swirls sorted later, you'll probably introduce a few yourself over time - I'd be tempted to get some use out of it and then get it detailed/do it yourself later. That's what I'm doing.

Cheers
![]() I think I'll go with your suggestion Silverbmwz3. You're right - it would spoil the delivery moment if the car was covered in transit wax!! Think it's a good 8 weeks away though as I still don't have a delivery date. ![]() |
