sounds ok to me, well better than my golf did, so far i have seen 6 speakers, front doors, rear shelf and under front seats - prof head unit (whatever that is)

have i got the basic stuff or what?

sounds like the std. system. if you have ticked the "HiFi" upgrade or "Logic7" then you would have more speakers (10 - 13) and if you had "logic7" there are a few extra equalizer screens in i-drive. first clue to having the HiFi pack is that it comes with separate tweeters built into the housings behind the wing mirrors.

ok thanks, def not tweeters, but all the same sounds great for standard

I thought it was abit pathetic for standard.. needs a "loud" function.

My Bora had 8 speaker standard which was far better, as did the Golf before (mkIII) and the recent Mazda6 had Bose, albeit 6 speakers and not the best, but clear enough and more base.

I fully agree - my last car (Audi A4) had the Bose system - was very good - 10 speakers (centre, sub, and woofer/tweeter combo in each door)

So wish I had ticked the hi-fi option :mad:

my 330 is much better than my previous cars (std audio that is) which include mk5 golf, mk4 golf, mk3 golf, laguna (dont say a word) and many others, that said the volume is not great epsecially using aux/ipod

The prof/logic 7 system is awesome, sounds like a home hifi and goes great with 6FL. I heard the standard system on my father's new E60 at the weekend and was underwhelmed.

yeah i argree std system is not that my old e46 coupe was better, could do with a upgrade some how but keep the head unit

I think the Hi-Fi system is much better than the standard system.
