Hi,

New member here, sorry for such a stupid question but if the CDC icon appears on the iDrive screen, does this mean it's already been coded?

It's a pre LCI 07 330i M Sport with iDrive professional

I'm looking to install a usb/iPod gateway type device eg dension/mobridge/Grom to where the CDC would normally sit. My car does not have a CDC fitted nor is it on the spec when I do a VIN lookup.

Actually I think I am being stupid as the CDC icon doesn't appear as it's just multiple discs to show I have a choice between the DVD and CD drive!
