jb4 code clear

I have a "check engine soon" light on and car is in limp mode after install. The jb4 "delete all codes" command (1,2) only reads the codes back to me (same as 1,1). How do I get it to clear codes??!!

Edit:

got the usb connected. it read codes:

3100
2ABC
2D33
29F3
2C40

I do "delete all codes" and these codes come right back, even on map 0.

What do I do now?

update.

reinstalled jb4 and got codes to clear. musta been a loose connection or something.

now it throws codes and goes into limp mode when driving, even on map 0. Persistent code is:

2A2C - something to do with fuel mixture...

Reset adaptations? which ones, and how...?

Map 0 doesn't auto clear codes. Try it on map 1 for a couple days, and see if the issue continues.

If you are getting a persistent code in map0 (not related to downpipes or tune) its either a wiring issue or an issue with the car. Map0 does not do autocode clear.

Thanks for the input, folks.

I'll drive it for a while and see if the code-throwing resolves itself.

Update. All resolved after I drove it a while in map 1 with auto-clear.

Good to hear. No point in having a JB4 unless you actually use it If you have catless downpipes then run it map 2. If not, than stick to 1 or 5.
