LCI number plate lights on Pre LCI

Has anyone bothered to try this? fitting LCI led number plate lights on the pre LCI model?

I assume its as easy as solering some wiring in.

Will the onboard computer require programming to disregard the bulb failure on the number plate or doesnt it note if a number plate light is out?

I know there is plenty of chinese type led rear number plate lights but i like the idea of running OE lights if possible.

well i wired the lci led number plate lights in today,
yes they fit, its a soldering wiring job to get them to work and yes it causes a bulb failure warning but a resistor kit should rectify that.
i think it really make a difference
