Today's mod. ///M badge haters beware!

Bought some 20mm adhesive vinyl from ebay a while ago, got it stuck on today. I like it and it will be staying but I know I'm in for some stick over it.

I have one planned for the rear as well but it means removing the infill in the rear bumper to do the job right.

Mate this is def a mod worth noticing. Looks awesome! I would prefer this than the whole slats, just my opinion.

My initial intention was to do 3 slats but only on one side, probably the offside then you'd only notice it when passing on that side. Basically I couldn't be bothered to take the grilles out to do it so I ended up with a 2 minute mod

Ha ha ha I like that.

Be careful, if someone from BMW sees this they'll end up selling grills like this for £120 and sold as DTM special edition or something like that lol.

I will get one, I regret not taking a better picture as it does look pretty good when the car is viewed as a whole.

I like it, looks original and discreet, nothing like having an M badge stuck on the grill IMO

yes liking this subtle but noticable and as for the whole m badge or no m badge on the front or rear if bmw put the m logo on the sill plates and steering wheel and gearknob then if you like the badges then i say do it but its imo each to there own

Nice, I think it looks great and definitely different!

I don't get the whole 'clownage' thing sometimes as the ///M logo is all over in Msport models, but somehow when one extra '///' or '///M' is added then it becomes clownage?

Personally? I think it looks shit.

Loads of people did this at bummerfest and then this year it was at DC10, Santa Pod, Gaydon allll over the place. Like 50 cars I saw with some theme of coloured kidney grilles. At least yours is a bit different but still terrible, IMHO!!!

As has been said, clownage to the Nth degree. The original coloured slat look I actually think its one of the worst mods I've ever seen on the BMW scene. This slightly better (again) but I just really dislike it.

Each to their own eh? But...
